The salary range for this role is: $66,336.66 - $109,432.93

Responsibilities:

Position Function & Scope:

The Supervisor of Quality Assurance assists in directing, overseeing, supporting, and coordinating quality assurance and technical activities at the Plover facility. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with company policies, FSMA, and regulatory standards. The role involves staffing, training, and participating in decision-making related to production, product disposition, and personnel management. It also includes managing personnel performance and administrative actions in collaboration with HR.

Food Safety and Quality duties include HACCP, Food Safety Coordination, Quality System Oversight, sanitation, product grading, record auditing, process control, internal audits, regulatory audits, Food Defense, root cause analysis, product holds, consumer complaints, BRC systems, audits, traceability, recall, pest control, private label QA, CAPA, equipment calibration, training, and supplier performance.

Food Safety and Quality:

  • Implement and review internal audits and quality systems.
  • Ensure product safety and compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Review and enforce quality standards and annual quality plans.

Member of Plant Leadership:

  • Report to the Manager of Quality Assurance and influence plant quality and food safety culture.

Management/Supervision:

  • Supervise and train hourly production and seasonal personnel to meet quality standards and goals.
  • Manage personnel performance and administrative actions with HR.

Safety:

  • Ensure safety rules are followed in the area of responsibility.

Del Monte Production Systems (Lean):

  • Support and facilitate Lean initiatives.

Continuing Education:

  • Maintain and improve supervisory, food safety, and Lean skills through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, biology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years in food manufacturing QA, including supervisory experience.
  • PCQI certification.
