Position Description
Coordinates the effective use of equipment, facilities, team members, and skill sets to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements across departments and shifts.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops, trains, and motivates team members to achieve safety, efficiency, proficiency, cooperation, and morale; ensures adherence to plant and engineering policies; may recommend or implement new policies.
- Analyzes potential production issues and implements procedures to minimize downtime.
- Reviews schedules, coordinates production/testing, and manages team assignments, potentially across multiple departments and shifts.
- Monitors manufacturing costs, quality, output, and production methods; ensures optimal use of resources.
- Collaborates with engineers to improve safety, processes, and quality; acts as liaison between plant and engineering.
- Uses data to estimate work hours and efficiencies, drives continuous improvement projects, and ensures project completion with measurable results.
- Manages costs and budgets, and implements corrective actions for financial control.
- Inspects materials and finished products for quality compliance.
- Performs managerial duties including hiring, coaching, performance management, and compliance with EEO/AA policies.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

- Ability to coordinate with internal departments for on-time delivery of quality products.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for motivating diverse teams.
- Problem-solving skills for personnel and production issues.
- Proficiency with office software and SAP.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.
- Fluency in English and the primary language of the area.
Education
High School diploma or General Education Degree.
Experience Requirements
- At least three years in manufacturing, including personnel management, with a high school diploma.
- At least one year in manufacturing with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience across multiple departments preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement or cost reduction initiatives with tangible results.
