Job Details:

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. It requires an understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
2. Ensuring every position is filled before start-up of production line.
3. Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
4. Ensuring all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.
5. Ensuring all workstations have passed USDA Inspection.
6. Promoting safety daily as well as through monthly safety meetings.
7. Ensuring accurate shipments, rotation of inventory, and proper coding of products.
8. Communicating company benefits and policies to Team Members.
9. Providing encouragement to Team Members to build the best team possible.
10. Training, retaining, and counseling Team Members on personal and professional issues.
11. Overseeing processing operations and collaborating with other supervisors to solve problems.
12. Keeping records of reworked or returned products.
13. Providing ongoing education on quality importance.
14. Performing other responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 1+ years in manufacturing; supervisory experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma; additional training or college preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills required.
• Supervisory: Responsible for supervising a team performing related tasks.
• Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
• Additional: Must provide resume to be considered.

• Work Shift: B Shift (USA).
