Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor – Technician to oversee pharmaceutical operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role emphasizes safe, quality technical functions and leadership across people, processes, and programs to advance patient care.

The position requires a Pharmacy Technician license, PTCB certification, and 3 years of technician experience. Work is on day shift in a full-time capacity with comprehensive benefits.

• Responsible for the successful achievement of strategic objectives and goals and optimizing resources to achieve the desired outcomes
• Monitor quality assurance activities and issues, identify opportunities, and create corrective action plans to improve operational effectiveness
• Support business development, revenue integrity, and 340B program activities
• Ensure colleagues are assigned to work areas to achieve established standards for operational support
• Support procurement activities including purchasing, receiving, storing, distribution, inventory, compounding and dispensing of pharmaceuticals

Position Purpose

The Pharmacy Supervisor – Technician provides safe, quality technical and non-technical functions which assist in provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision and direction of a registered pharmacist in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures. Accountable for leading, managing and advancing people, processes and / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. Implements strategic and operational initiatives including new services/programs, revenue enhancement, expense reduction, managed care utilization systems, and strategies.

Pay Range: $28 - $40 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
