Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Supervisor Permitting to lead the permitting process for telecommunications projects, including identifying, procuring, and ensuring compliance with governmental and non-governmental permits.

You will coordinate with city, construction, engineering, GIS, and field teams; read and analyze data; use ARCGIS and related software; and work toward accurate, timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in office hardware and software (PCs, tablets, printers, copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.
• Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project.
• Additional Duties as assigned.

A successful Permit Supervisor shall be responsible for identifying, procuring, and complying with governmental and non-governmental permits. Ensure preparation of pole applications and ROW permits for approval by the permitting authority. This position also requires cross-departmental coordination, including, but not limited to the following: city, construction, engineering, GIS, field departments. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network design; ability to use ARCGIS and other office related equipment; familiarity with telecommunications design software; ability to read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data.

The wage range for Supervisor Permitting is$55,000.00 - $64,000.00.
