Job summary

Globe Communications LLC in Concord, NC seeks a detail‑oriented Permitting Assistant to support project teams with obtaining permits and keeping records. You will help coordinate applications, track progress, and ensure timely submissions across applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or up to two years of permitting knowledge.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize work and follow up on outstanding issues.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in obtaining permits and licenses for projects.
  • Maintain and organize permitting records, documentation, and databases.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure permit applications are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Track permit applications and update project teams on status.
  • Communicate with government agencies to clarify requirements and timelines.
  • Research local, state, and federal permitting regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support resolution of minor permitting issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports and summaries on permit approvals, expirations, and renewals.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and documentation for stakeholder meetings.
  • Work closely with project managers to align permitting activities with project schedules.

What You’ll Need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred

  • Ability to organize work and follow up on outstanding issues
