Option Care Health is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Access - Specialty Operations for CA to oversee the Patient Registration team and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for patients and referral partners. You will drive performance and productivity, coaching staff to maintain exceptional service while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes onboarding efficiency, policy adherence, and issue resolution, with a focus on denials management and claim integrity within a home

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience or 3–5 years in patient registration or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Patient Registration team to ensure smooth onboarding for patients and referral partners.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; address performance issues and maintain high service standards.
• Educate the team on onboarding processes and resolve related issues.
• Serve as go-to for troubleshooting with the CMC Patient Registration team.
• Ensure adherence to policies and assist with rollout of new procedures.
• Manage activities to ensure clean claims on hold and deny management.

Job Description Summary

The Supervisor, Patient Access - Specialty Operations - CA directly oversees the day-to-day operations of the Patient Registration team members with the goal of delivering a consistent onboarding experience where patients and referral partners feel Option Care Health makes it easy to transition care. The Supervisor, Patient Access - Specialty Operations - CA manages the overall performance and productivity of the PR team in facilitating all aspects of the patient’s transition to home/AIS.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

• Monitors daily performance including team member coaching: 1) Quality - Ensure team member consistency in obtaining required paperwork, dialogue, securing payment. 2) Speed – Ensure timely actions with each step of the referral flow and handoffs. 3) Customer Service – Ensure consistent demonstration of exceptional customer service with every customer (both internal and external).
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees. Directs work, appraises performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Responsible for team education and resolution of issues related to the patient onboarding process.
• Go-to for troubleshooting issues and resolutions with CMC Patient Registration team members.
• Monitors team adherence to existing policies/procedures and assists with roll out of new policies and procedures.
• Manages the activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management.

Basic Education And/or Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related supervisory experience, or 3-5yrs of patient registration or other related experience showing demonstrated progression.

• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast past environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.
• High degree of customer service skills required.
• Ability to trouble shoot, problem solves and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.

• Minimum of one (1) year prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year customer service preferred.

Salary

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $27.89-$46.46
