Job summary

Option Care Health in California seeks a Supervisor, Patient Access - Specialty Operations to oversee day-to-day operations of the Patient Registration team, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for patients and referral partners as they transition to home/AIS.

You will coach team members, hire and train staff, and drive performance while aligning with company policies and denial management. This role reports to the Patient Access leadership in California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience or 3–5 years in patient registration with progression.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily performance and coaching of the Patient Access team.

The Supervisor, Patient Access - Specialty Operations - CA manages the overall performance and productivity of the PR team in facilitating all aspects of the patient’s transition to home/AIS.Job Description:Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)Monitors daily performance including team member coaching: 1) Quality - Ensure team member consistency in obtaining required paperwork, dialogue, securing payment. 2) Speed – Ensure timely actions with each step of the referral flow and handoffs. 3) Customer Service – Ensure consistent demonstration of exceptional customer service with every customer (both internal and external).Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
