Job summary

Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Supervisor for Patient Access to oversee daily operations of the department. You will train, coach, hire, and motivate staff while ensuring adequate staffing and quality assurance programs are in place.

The role partners with Outpatient and Emergency Department Patient Access teams to meet performance goals and improve registration workflows. Full-time evenings and weekends with competitive benefits offered by Saint Luke’s Health

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of experience is required.
• Experience with patient registration is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for Patient Access staff in accordance with established policies and practices.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate staffing of Patient Access Representatives along with time keeping of staff.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, Patient Access Representatives.
• Conducts staff quality audits, coaching.
• Assists Department Manager with budgets.
• Reports monthly goals and accomplishments.
• Orders supplies for department.

Job Description Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park is seeking a Supervisor for Patient Access to join our team. This position is responsible for ongoing daily operations of the Patient Access department. The Supervisor ensures that quality standards are continually achieved by the department by training, coaching, evaluating, hiring and motivating all staff, ensuring that adequate staffing is always available to operate the department, assists in establishing and monitoring quality assurance programs. This position will work closely with Outpatient and Emergency Department Patient Access team members.
