Job summary

GEODIS USA, LLC is seeking an Import Supervisor to lead the import team, manage workflow and productivity, and ensure compliance with customs and broker procedures. The role involves preparing reports, communicating with customers, and developing procedures tailored to client specifications.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of relevant experience, at least 2 years in a supervisory role, and a strong work ethic aligned with GEODIS culture.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity; Customs Broker License preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Incredible work ethic and alignment with GEODIS culture.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, high level of customer service, and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Supervises import team personnel by managing workflow and team productivity and addressing employee performance and additional personnel standards.
• Prepares and monitors customs compliance and broker management reports.
• Maintains communication with customers and provides market competitive rate quotes.
• Develops Internal Operating Procedures OOP) based on customer specifications.
• Handles accounting processes; including monitoring APIAR issues, Post Entry reviews and audits.
