Job summary

ID Logistics US seeks an Operations Supervisor for our on-site Scranton, PA facility. Lead a warehouse team on the 2nd shift (M-F 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm), assign tasks, coach staff, monitor performance, and report to management.

You will promote safety, maintain GMP for a food-grade warehouse, verify shipments, manage attendance, and coordinate vacations and time sheets. Strong communication and 2+ years warehousing supervision required; bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some college
• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Position Overview:

The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.

Compensation/Benefits:

Attractive annual salary of $<<65,000>> plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

• Follows established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

• Helps maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitors daily compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee associates.
• Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required.
• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Lean six sigma experience a plus
• Inventory experience a plus
• Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus
