Job summary

ID Logistics US, a leading 3PL provider, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift team on site. You will assign tasks, coach staff, monitor performance, and report outcomes to senior management, while ensuring safety, process improvements, and GMP compliance.

The role emphasizes coaching, attendance tracking, and coordination of vacations and payroll for a team of 10–15 associates in a food-grade warehouse environment. A strong safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED with some college level study.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
• Inventory experience a plus.
• Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follows established operational procedures for verification of shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and inventory accuracy.
• Provides 100% customer satisfaction.
• Builds a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Helps maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitors daily safety procedure compliance.
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and training to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, concerns productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee 10-15 associates and maintain GMP for food grade warehouse.

Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in managing their team's workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting team targets, and acting as a link between employees and upper management. Supervisors are also responsible for coaching and resolving issues.

Compensation/Benefits

Attractive annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

• Investigates accidents and prepares reports.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee 10-15 associates.
• Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required.
• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Lean six sigma experience a plus
• Inventory experience a plus
• Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus
