Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will supervise 50+ employees, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include planning staffing, assigning duties, maintaining inventory accuracy, and collaborating with Inventory Control and operations leadership to optimize productivity and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
  • Experience leading a team of 50+ direct reports.
  • Experience utilizing 3PL a plus.
  • Safe food handling and temperature controlled storage experience a must.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report each day to plan work activities.
  • Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
  • Determines staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.
  • Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
  • Reviews and updates operational procedures and ensures they are communicated and understood by warehouse associates.
  • Tracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.
  • Works with Inventory Control to maintain highest level of inventory accuracy.
  • Manages payroll of the department.
  • Advises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment; and related problems.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Issues written and oral instructions.
  • Ensures proper safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.

Summary

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard. The position is scheduled Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30PM to 4:00AM.

Qualifications

  • Freezer experience a plus.
  • USDA imports and exports experience a plus.
  • Safe food handling and temperature controlled storage experience a must.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises 50+ employees in Operations, carrying out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$60,000 - $65,000. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
