Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train payment posting specialists, refund specialists, cash applications specialists and receptionist; conduct performance appraisals.
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures for processing payments and refunds to improve production.
• Oversee processing of refunds with verification of credits and documentation.
• Maintain deposits, vouchers, and EOBs in accordance with department procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations for maximum reimbursement and month-end balancing.
• Review vouchers to ensure correct payments from carriers and address denials and rejections.

Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency of payment posting, refunds and adjustments. Oversee refund processing. Perform month-end balancing.# **Major Job Functions**The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.
