The Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations, staff, service or function assigned in the Food & Nutrition Department.
High school graduate with a minimum of six years progressive experience in the field and additional supervisory training based on specific service need. Or bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline with one to two years progressive experience in the field. Advanced degree is a plus/requirement, depending on specific service needs and/or requirements. Ideally the candidate will have some supervisory experience. Or, AAS degree in appropriate discipline with progressive experience in the field will be considered based on specific department needs and/or requirements.Certification/licensure as required by regulatory agency. Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal, motivational and conflict resolution skills. Strong participatory management, team building and administrative skills. Broad based knowledge of related regulatory compliance requirements.
Exposure Class I or II, service specific – limited exposure to situation which could cause serious illness or injury (II), routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions .
Medium work: Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, push and pull.

Pay Range: $20.20 - $30.30 per hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
