Job summary

The Heart Hospital in Plano, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Emergency Department. This full-time day-shift role leads ED staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

You will supervise healthcare professionals, oversee operations, and ensure efficient resource use in a fast-paced ED. ED experience is required; leadership experience preferred, and an Associate's Degree in Nursing is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in ED; leadership experience preferred.
• Certification: RN with BLS (within 30 days of hire).
• Must have ED experience; leadership experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced ED environment.

Job Summary

Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Associate\'s Degree
• MAJOR - Nursing
• EXPERIENCE - (2) Two Years of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Must have previous ED experience. Leadership experience highly preferred.
