Job summary

HCT Healthcare Transformation is seeking an interim Medical Staff Services Coordinator to support credentialing and privileging for new and reappointment applications and temporary privileges. You will work under the department leader to resolve issues and complaints that arise during the process.

Requirements include a healthcare-related bachelor's degree, 3+ years of hospital credentialing experience, and familiarity with CPCS/CPMSM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in healthcare field preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting; must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing including initial applications, reappointments, expirables, and meeting minutes.

Job description

HCT seeks certified medical staff services professionals for interim assignments. Under the direction of the department leader, you will provide assistance with the medical staff credentialing/privileging process for new and reappointment applications and temporary privileges and resolving issues/complaints.
Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors in healthcare field preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting; must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing including initial applications, reappointments, expirables, and meeting minutes
• Certifications: CPCS and/or CPMSM preferred
• Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of databases, Cactus experience preferred; and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)

Expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, and rental car.
