The Supervisor serves as the primary contact and representative for the Health Information Services department, next to the Director. With an understanding of the scope of services for the department, the Supervisor assists the Director in achieving the department's goals. They are knowledgeable about the specific functions of clerical positions and serve as a resource for co-workers. The Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing clerical activities, ensuring the security and maintenance of the legal medical record. They effectively interact with patients and their significant others, physicians and their office staff, co-workers, and other health team members, while maintaining professional service standards. They perform administrative duties and compile data for reporting to the director.
Education and Work Experience
