Job description

Ameristar Perimeter Security is looking for a Manufacturing Support Supervisor to join our team. This position will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment (air compressors, generators, etc.). This includes overseeing employees and contractors who install, inspect, repair, and maintain building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track facilities service requests and ensure completion within established timelines and quality standards.
• Schedule and oversee inspections and preventative maintenance of facilities systems and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and effective working environment.
• Train team members on policies and procedures.
• Coordinate work with contractors and skilled trades, including requesting quotes.
• Make daily decisions regarding facilities maintenance and repairs.
• Manage spending requisitions for required materials and services.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain team members.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to keep records of KPIs to understand cost impacts.
• Experience with 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Experience working with diverse personnel levels and backgrounds.
• Proficiency with JDE, Microsoft Office, PPE, safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
