Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations on first and second shift at our Phoenix, AZ facility. The role focuses on safety, process compliance, and timely production in alignment with company objectives.

The candidate will develop staff, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to quality and ISO standards while maintaining a safe work environment and strong internal/external customer focus.

Position Summary

This position supervises the daily operations of manufacturing on first and second shift to ensure that the safety and manufacturing process and procedures are being adhered to. In doing so, working to meet the company’s goals and objectives.

Duties

• Manage and coordinate the activities and performance of direct reports to ensure the achievement of objectives and performance goals.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, operating procedures, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Develop employees through orientation, training, and establishment of objectives, communication of rules and policies, while building employee morale and motivation.
• Takes necessary actions to eliminate delays so as to ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules.
• Monitor associate performance and administer progressive discipline as needed.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Ensure that quality systems are adhered by maintaining ISO standards.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
