Job summary

HuFriedyGroup in Phoenix, AZ is hiring an assembler to complete various assembly and packaging tasks using standard equipment to prepare products for shipment. You will follow documented procedures, maintain production flow, and participate in routine quality checks.

This role requires a High School diploma, about 1 year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble product per documented SOPs.
• Maintain production rates to meet targets.

Position Summary

The assembler position involves the completion of various assembly and packaging assignments by operating standard or specially designed small equipment (labeling, weighing, sealing, etc.) to place or arrange products into specified boxes, cartons or other customer container.

Duties

• Assemble product per documented Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain production rates
• Perform quality in line audit checks
• Take care of daily shop clean ups and maintain 6S organization
• Operate machinery, as required by the assigned cell rotation
• Other applicable tasks as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager

Required Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
