Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a skilled facilities professional to lead hospital maintenance operations. In this role you will oversee the Engineering department, help establish goals and schedules, and ensure safe, reliable plant systems to support patient care.

The position requires at least five years in hospital maintenance with supervisory experience, a GED or high school diploma, and technical training. DL required and a focus on hands-on leadership in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hospital maintenance experience with two years in a supervisory or lead worker position.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement goals, policies, procedures, schedules, priorities and development of departmental budget.
• As a work leader, oversee all facets of the operation of the Engineering department. Perform all functions pertaining to maintenance and plant equipment to adequately support and efficiently operate the full range of department duties.

Licenses and Certifications

• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500. Upon Hire Required
