Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of repair work on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems. The role includes troubleshooting and maintaining equipment during off-hours.

No prior experience is required, and a GED or high school diploma is acceptable. A valid Georgia driver’s license and adherence to safety policies are required. This is a full-time, overnight shift (Sun-Thu 11:00 pm – 7:30 am).

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Work Experience: No experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Georgia driver’s license and adherence to Piedmont's Vehicle Safety Program policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and repair on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic tube system and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Be responsible for facilities during non-working hours (Sun-Thu 11:00 pm–7:30 am).

Responsibilities:

Perform minor level maintenance and repair work on a wide variety of Medical Center plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, facilities and equipment; troubleshooting pneumatic tube system; perform routine vehicle maintenance and assume independent responsibility for the overall maintenance of assigned Medical Center facilities during other than normal working hours. (Sunday - Thursday - 11:00 pm - 7:30 am)
