Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. in Columbus, GA seeks an experienced maintenance professional to lead the Engineering department’s operations. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, and preventive maintenance to support hospital services and patient safety.

The role requires at least five years in hospital maintenance with two years in a leadership position, plus a valid driver’s license. Healthcare facility experience is preferred, and the team relies on your leadership to maintain reliable building

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training, apprenticeship or military training in building maintenance, HVAC, electrical or plumbing preferred.
• Five years hospital maintenance experience with at least two years in a supervisory/lead role required.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and adherence to vehicle safety program.

Work Experience

• 5 years of hospital maintenance experience with two (2) year in a supervisory or lead worker position Required
• Experience in a healthcare environment Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500. Upon Hire Required
