Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor with a strong background in hotel/resort maintenance. The role focuses on ensuring the operational integrity of all mechanical equipment and overseeing maintenance activities.

Your Role

• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve them efficiently.
• Hire new employees and recommend promotions within Property Operations.
• Train, motivate, and support subordinate staff to ensure quality service.
• Counsel, coach, discipline, and document staff performance.
• Recognize and reward superior performance.
• Direct and supervise staff in Property Operations.
• Set work schedules based on skill and workload.
• Organize and participate in meetings, maintaining records and data related to Property Operations.
• Assist with budget analysis and capital plan monitoring.
• Manage engineering supplies, inventory, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with outside contractors.
• Ensure correct use of office equipment, EMS systems, and Life Safety Systems (training will be provided).

What We’re Looking For

• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar hospitality position.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Universal refrigerant license.
• Ability to read wire and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to properly use an electrical meter.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, and push/pull during shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $57.65.

Actual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
