Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at The Wade – Lakeshore, a premier property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio. The role is focused on ensuring the working order of all mechanical equipment, repair and maintenance of the property, and coordination of staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guests’ maintenance requests and resolve their needs efficiently.
• Hire new employees and recommend promotions within Property Operations.
• Train, motivate, and support subordinate staff to ensure quality service.
• Counsel, coach, discipline, and document staff performance.
• Recognize and reward superior performance.
• Direct and supervise the staff in Property Operations.
• Set work schedules for staff according to skill and workload level.
• Organize and participate in meetings and maintain records and data pertaining to Property Operations.
• Develop and monitor budget analysis and capital plans.
• Develop and monitor engineering supplies, parts, inventories, and administer the purchase order system.
• Coordinate with outside contractors.
• Ensure correct use of office equipment, EMS systems, and Life Safety Systems.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Universal refrigerant license.
• Ability to read wire and schematic diagrams.
• Ability to properly use an electrical meter.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation

• $57.65–$57.65 hourly.
