SALARY: The salary range for this position is $79,837.78 to $124,866.36 for Schedule A, and $79,837.78 to $118,623.04 for Schedule B. Newly hired individuals typically start at the minimum of the range. Current Judiciary employees promoted or advanced receive a 5% salary increase, not exceeding the maximum of the range. Employees hired before August 29, 2015, are Schedule A; those hired on or after are Schedule B.

The Language Services Section seeks a supervisor with proven organizational skills to support statewide language access programming. Under the supervision of the Manager of the Language Services Section, the Administrative Supervisor 3 will oversee administrative functions and supervise professional staff supporting the Language Access Plan (LAP). This role collaborates with judges, managers, and staff statewide, requiring strong communication, analytical, technical, supervisory, and problem-solving skills.
The Administrative Supervisor 3 will oversee the language testing program, assist with language services policies, support training events, supervise interpreters and staff administering language testing, and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements. The position involves formulating policies, monitoring practices, supporting LAP trainings, managing interpreting services systems, and becoming the Judiciary’s subject matter expert in Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Automated Interpreting Technology (AIT), providing training at all levels.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary offers a hybrid schedule, allowing up to 2 days of remote work outside Judiciary buildings, pending installation of multifactor authentication and high-speed internet at home.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is essential.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience, including two in development, coordination, analysis, implementation, administration, or research.
Substitution: Additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. An associate’s degree plus two years of experience, or a master’s degree, or a law degree may substitute for the required experience.

Driver's License: Required if driving is necessary for duties.
Authorization to Work: US citizenship not required; must be authorized to work in the US.
Background Check: New hires must pass a background check, including fingerprinting.
