JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Supervisor for the Cardiovascular Service Line plays a key leadership role in supporting the Director of Operations in overseeing day-to-day operations, program management, and strategic initiatives across the cardiovascular service line. This individual ensures smooth administrative operations, supervises scheduling and support staff, fosters collaboration across regional centers, and supports leadership development, community engagement, and marketing efforts.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience

  • 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, preferably within a cardiovascular or specialty service line and
    Supervisory or team leadership experience required

JOB DUTIES
  • Assist the Director of Operations in managing daily operations within the cardiovascular service line, ensuring optimal workflow, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor implementation of service line initiatives and performance improvement projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of operational processes and procedures, ensuring standardization across all facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including clinical teams, finance, IT, and human resources to support service line goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between regional cardiovascular centers to align goals, share best practices, and support integrated care delivery.
  • Facilitate regular communication between sites to ensure consistency in service delivery and patient experience.
  • Monitor service metrics and patient volumes across locations to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Supervise and support the administrative and scheduling staff, ensuring adequate coverage and high performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of administrative staff.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with organizational values and goals.
  • Support community outreach and engagement initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of cardiovascular services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns promoting cardiovascular programs, physicians, and regional centers.
  • Represent the service line at community events, health fairs, and educational sessions, as needed.
