This leadership position is responsible for the operational management of the clinical laboratory, including direct leadership of technical associates and potentially pre-analytic supervision. The role involves performing all levels of testing within the analytical laboratory, applying high-level technical knowledge, and demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of MLS, MT, or MLT work experience in the clinical laboratory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or equivalent.
• MLS with ASCP certification, or MT/MLT with ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification, or specialty ASCP certification in the assigned department.

Schedule

Primarily M-F Day shift, with flexibility for other shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

Light work - exerting up to 20 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
