Job summary

Bally's Corporation is seeking an IT-focused team member to support day-to-day operations, install and maintain hardware and software, and manage local networks. This role requires supervisory experience, the ability to obtain a Delaware gaming license, and a strong mix of technical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• High school diploma required.
• 21+ years of age or older is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in Delaware.
• Two years of supervisory IT experience preferred.
• Experience installing and maintaining systems is required.
• Strong communication, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun, entertaining atmosphere aligned with Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy.
• Promote Bally's customer-centric culture and build guest relations.
• Oversee IT workstation setup and peripheral devices (routers, printers).
• Assist IT Manager and Director of IT with design, coordination and installation of IT solutions.
• Check hardware for efficiency and reliability.
• Supervise installation and configuration of software per specifications.
• Develop and maintain local networks for optimal performance.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and systems.
• Provide user orientation on new software and equipment.
• Schedule upgrades and maintenance without hindering work.
• Troubleshoot to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Maintain records and logs of repairs and maintenance.
• Identify shortages and place orders.
• Select, train and develop team members through coaching.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• Oversee the set of up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etcetera)
• Assist the IT Manager and Director of IT in the design, coordination, and installation of IT solutions
• Check computer hardware to ensure efficiency
• Supervise the installation and configuration of appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
• Maintain records and logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules
• Identify computer shortages and place orders
• Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
• Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
• Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Starting Compensation

• $27.00/hr

Experience

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Delaware Gaming Enforcement and Delaware Lottery (required)
• Associate degree in a related field, or the absence of a degree, a combination of education of experience (required)
• 2 years: Must have two years of supervisory experience in the IT field (preferred)
• Must have practical experience installing and maintaining systems (required)
• Must have excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills (required)
