Primary Purpose

Oversee department functions and staff, ensuring standards for receiving and shipping are met. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate timely, safe product movement, and uphold quality for retail and customers.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily department activities and staff
2. Manage associate performance, including coaching and disciplinary actions
3. Assist in hiring, training, and development
4. Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient inventory flow
5. Support staffing and safety in unloading operations
6. Monitor staffing levels and associate time management
7. Conduct departmental meetings
8. Lead associates towards achieving departmental goals
9. Contribute to operational and budget objectives
10. Provide reports to leadership
11. Lead projects and suggest process improvements
12. Ensure compliance with safety, accuracy, and productivity standards

Qualifications

1. Experience with WMS and RF/Voice systems
2. Background in distribution environments
3. Understanding of financial reports
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
6. Effective communication and record-keeping skills
7. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions
8. Ability to interpret product identifiers

Preferred Requirements

• 1-3 years of distribution warehouse experience
