Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a Supervisor, Internal Communications to lead global internal communications, shaping culture, narratives and executive updates. You will build the strategy, manage channels, cadences and messaging to keep teams informed as DigiKey grows.

The role requires a minimum of three days in the Thief River Falls, MN office, with travel for projects; you will partner with HR and Marketing to ensure consistent internal and external storytelling, and you will apply AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
• 3+ years of cross-functional communication experience, with 1 year in a leadership role.
• Excellent storytelling and proofreading skills.
• Journalistic writing experience.
• Knowledge of DigiKey brand and core values.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage DigiKey's internal communications infrastructure: the team, strategy, channels, cadences and best practices.
• Serve as a strategic communications partner across the business; triaging and prioritizing company-wide communication requests.
• Partner with HR as a strategic sounding board on sensitive communications.
• Collaborate with marketing to align internal and external narratives.
• Evolve internal communications strategy and toolkit as the company scales.
• Measure and iterate on effectiveness using data.
• Organize and lead communication projects and planning meetings.
• Explore AI to amplify skills while applying it responsibly to improve efficiency.

Position Overview

The Supervisor, Internal Communications ensures global team members stay informed about DigiKey's vision, goals, projects and executive updates by leading strategic internal communications initiatives. This role is responsible for building and protecting company culture and morale through communications, keeping the energy and momentum visible as DigiKey grows. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record for creating and executing a successful internal communications strategy.

This role is based in Thief River Falls, MN and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office and be available for projects in the office as needed. Travel required, at times, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build and manageDigiKey'sinternal communications infrastructure: theteam, strategy,channels,cadencesand best practices for how the company communicates.
• Serve as a strategic communications partner across the business;triaging and prioritizing company-wide communication requests and partnering with stakeholders to translate complex topics into clear, effective messaging.

• Measure and iterate on what's working, bringing a data-informed lens toDigiKey'sinternal communications team.
• Organize and leadcommunicationprojectsand planningmeetings.
• Open to using AI to amplify skills and strengthenwork, demonstratingcuriosity, a willingness to learn,and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
• Thisrole will report to our Thief River Falls, Minnesota campus a minimum of threedays per week.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree inCommunications,Journalismor Marketing

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is:

$74,300

to

$102,500

Many factors influence the determination of base pay within a range, including the candidate's work experience in related roles; the candidate's knowledge, skills, capabilities, and performance; the relative pay of other DigiKey employees in similar roles; and the budget available for the position.
