As on-site nursing leader, you will coordinate patient flow, staffing, admissions, transfers, and bed placement, while guiding nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in critical care, RN licensure, and leadership experience in fast-paced settings.

As a House Supervisor at Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center, you'll serve as the clinical and operational leader for the hospital during your shift, ensuring exceptional patient care, efficient operations, and a safe environment for patients, visitors, and team members. Your leadership, sound clinical judgment, and ability to make critical decisions will be instrumental in supporting the care team and maintaining seamless hospital operations.
In this role, you'll provide administrative and clinical oversight across multiple departments, coordinating patient flow, staffing, admissions, transfers, and bed placement while responding to changing patient care needs throughout the hospital. You'll serve as a resource for nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary teams by offering clinical guidance, resolving operational challenges, and supporting complex patient care situations.
As the on-site nursing leader, you'll collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, and ancillary departments to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and excellence. The House Supervisor will act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for all patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors.
