Job summary

East Cooper Medical Center, part of the Novant Health family, is seeking a House Supervisor for PRN night shifts in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will serve as the in-house administrative representative and resource for patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors, guiding care delivery during night hours.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN or higher, possess active SC RN licensure, and bring at least five years of critical care nursing experience.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher degree required.
• 5+ years ICU critical care nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in South Carolina.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors.
• Oversee night shift operations and staffing at the hospital facility.
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure safety, quality care, and efficient patient flow.

What You'll Do

The House Supervisor will act as the in-house administrative representative and resource person for all patients, staff, staff physicians, and visitors.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - BSN/BA/BS, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years previous critical care nursing experience, required. Previous management experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status. Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision‑making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
