Job summary

Novant Health's Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a House Supervisor for a PRN role (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM). You will serve as the in-house administrative representative and resource for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring coordinated care during night shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN/BA/BS with at least five years of critical care nursing and some management experience, RN licensure, and strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN/BA/BS required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of prior critical care nursing experience; management experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Critical care or ED experience at Clemmons Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - BSN/BA/BS, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years previous critical care nursing experience, required. Previous management experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to modify care and interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care according to patient’s age, health and developmental status. Has demonstrated sound and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, good interpersonal skills, and good intra and interdepartmental relationships.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Clemmons Medical Center and Kernersville Medical Center require critical care or ED experience.
