Job summary

IOC Caruthersville LLC in Caruthersville, MO, seeks a Hotel Supervisor to deliver superior guest service and supervise hourly hotel staff. You will ensure a safe, secure environment while directing operations across front desk, housekeeping and amenities.

The ideal candidate has prior hotel operations experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and may require a Level 2 Missouri Gaming License. This is a full-time on-site role with hourly compensation of $19.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues within authorized limits.
• Coordinate with IT, Housekeeping and Maintenance to service guest needs.
• Ensure compliance with all gaming laws and regulations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests' receive a remarkable experience. Hotel Supervisor provides work direction to all hotel staff. All hotel employees are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment to all guests and employees working for Century, as well as safeguarding company assets. This position will also oversee all hourly hotel positions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain PAR levels for all inventory including Sundry, Linens, Terry, Disposable
• Amenities, ETC.
• Responsible for the supervision and successful performance of all hotel employees.
• Respond to guest complaints by taking corrective action within authorized limits.
• Recognize and address service needs, maintenance, etc.
• Assist in the training of new employees, handles employee complaints and problems.
• Instruct assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures: reports all safety hazards to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure hazards have been eliminated.
• Contacts IT, Housekeeping or Maintenance staff when guests report problems.
• Capable of cleaning rooms and able to operate the front desk.
• Corrects errors and discrepancies on guest accounts and resolves guest complaints.
• Adheres to all gaming laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience/Education:

• Prior experience in hotel operations, supervision, leadership roles;
• Bachelor’s degree or related combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

OTHER:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License
• Must complete all required company training.
