We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor responsible for supervising, directing, and organizing activities on the product packaging lines to ensure high employee engagement, safety, service, quality, inventory control, and customer satisfaction, with the goal of achieving targeted financial results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead, assign, and manage the tactical activities of the Production department to align with the strategic goals set by senior leadership.
2. Develop team capabilities and resolve issues by collaborating with engineers, peers, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and planning teams.
3. Train, coach, and develop employees to meet performance expectations and departmental objectives, ensuring all training requirements are completed monthly; manage performance, provide feedback, and foster positive employee relations.
4. Identify and drive improvements in equipment effectiveness (OEE), LEAN manufacturing, labor utilization, and quality through equipment and process enhancements.
5. Control operational costs, including labor, inventory, scrap, and downtime, to operate within the budget.
6. Coordinate with other departments for planning and scheduling production runs, changeovers, maintenance, and work orders.
7. Work with Focused Factory Managers to establish or update SOPs, work instructions, and best practices.
8. Ensure all work complies with the company's quality system and FDA good manufacturing practices, maintaining a clean and organized production area.
9. Participate in root cause analysis for OEE issues and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance, quality, and customer service.
10. Promote and enforce KDC’s safety and environmental policies and procedures.
11. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to hazards or incidents.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or related fields is preferred. Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in a filling/packaging environment is required.
2. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a filling and packaging environment; experience in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals is strongly preferred.
