Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Field Supervisor in California to oversee day-to-day EMS operations, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance. The role emphasizes leadership, patient care quality, and coordination with public safety agencies.

The candidate will mentor staff, manage shifts, and help implement department policies to ensure efficient service delivery. A minimum of 3 years EMS field experience and EMT/Paramedic certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of EMS field experience.
• Prior FTO or other leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• State EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• State Driver’s License with driving record per policy.
• As required for EMT or Paramedic: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications.

• Maintain operational quality through daily oversight and communication.
• Act as a liaison among the company, patients, and public safety agencies.
• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and support team development.

• Manage staffing levels, shift calendars, and fill open shifts as needed.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.

Operations Supervisor FULL-TIME Opportunity

Schedule: The applicant must be able to work a variety of scheduled hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Supervisor Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations which may include staffing, scheduling, ensuring maintenance of equipment and supplies, internal communications, budgetary considerations, outside agency interface, and community relations.

Responsibilities:
