Job Description

We're seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations and help ensure our buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well‑maintained. This is a working leadership role where you'll oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate preventive maintenance programs, assign and prioritize work orders, and support a team of maintenance professionals. You'll be balancing hands‑on facility oversight with planning, reporting, and team leadership. What You’ll Do

• Lead Daily Maintenance Operations
• Supervise and support maintenance technicians and other facility personnel
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities
• Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members
• Maintain Facility Systems & Equipment
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems and infrastructure
• Routinely inspect and maintain: HVAC systems, Electrical systems, Plumbing systems, Fire alarms and sprinkler systems, Security cameras and related building systems, Building structures, grounds, and exterior assets
• Manage Preventive Maintenance Programs
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and procedures
• Ensure preventive maintenance standards are followed across facilities and equipment
• Monitor performance and recommend process improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
• Drive Work Order & Facility Management Processes
• Utilize the Facility Maintenance System (FMS) to prioritize, track, and close work orders
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting
• Coordinate vendor services, repairs, and inspections as needed
• Promote Safety & Compliance
• Support the development and implementation of facility maintenance policies and standards
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulations
• Lead and coordinate maintenance‑related safety training
• Support emergency response efforts and address urgent facility issues as they arise

• Facility systems remain safe, operational, and compliant
• Preventive maintenance tasks are completed on schedule
• Work orders are prioritized and resolved efficiently
• Maintenance technicians are supported, trained, and productive
• Building and grounds inspections identify issues before they impact operations

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
• Experience coordinating maintenance schedules and work assignments
• Ability to identify issues, make sound decisions, and solve complex maintenance problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective leadership, delegation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance/work order systems
• Ability to work in a physically active environment requiring mobility, dexterity, and stamina
• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading maintenance technicians or facility teams
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs
• Experience working with facility management or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS/FMS)
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and third‑party service providers

Work Environment

• Office work, including planning, scheduling, reporting, and administrative responsibilities
• Field work, including facility inspections, troubleshooting, and oversight of maintenance activities

Schedule

• Mix of standard business hours and operational support responsibilities
• Participation in an on‑call rotation for emergency maintenance situations
• Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday support may be required
