Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a team of staff and specialists, ensure service and quality goals, and provide HR oversight.

The role covers daily cleaning, projects, carpet and floor care, waste disposal, scheduling, and building strong interdepartmental relationships. Nights shift with 10:00pm-6:30am or 11:00pm-7:30am, 40 hours weekly; starting salary $46,500.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2 years experience in commercial or healthcare environmental services or 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking positive, outgoing individuals with a passion for upholding clean and safe healthcare facilities for patients and staff, to join our Environment Services Leadership Team as a Supervisor!

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide organizational leadership to a group of environmental services staff and specialists

• Ensure goals are met in both service and quality and provide HR oversight for the department

• Daily cleaning as well as projects, carpet and hard surface floor care, waste disposal, and moving services

• Shift management and scheduling

• Foster healthy relationships with other leaders as well as promoting those within the department

What’s Available:

• Full time, 1.0 FTE - 40 hours/ week

• Schedule: Nights- Ability to work Nights - 3rd shift hours typically 10:00pm-6:30am or 11:00pm-7:30am with flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays.

• Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI

• Starting salary $46,500 and up, based on your years of experience.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalency

• 2 years of experience in commercial or healthcare environmental services or related field; or 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare or related field

• Valid Driver’s License, Required
