Supervisor, EMR Remote Operations - Global Operations

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The role provides support to the Global Health Information Operations Manager and is responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of the global HIS team, as well as handling escalations.

Responsibilities include:

• Being a knowledge expert for global partners
• Leading training for global associates
• Generating reports for global partners, management, and clients
• Overseeing Quality Assurance for global partners
• Leading recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of lead, QA, and training staff
• Developing and managing overall workflow for various clients
• Updating Standard Operating Procedures with global partners
• Informing senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges
• Managing multiple projects
• Building relationships with cross-functional teams
• Ensuring confidentiality and security of privileged information
• Maintaining knowledge of company and facility software
• Adhering to company and client policies and codes of conduct
• Safeguarding patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Handling various tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willingness to travel to meet global partners
• At least 2 years of health information-related experience (3+ years preferred)
• Experience in leading projects and processes
• Proficiency with phones and office equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and compliance in medical records
• Experience in production/metric-based work (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Effective delegation skills

This position requires travel to India at least once per quarter. The role offers a salary range of $57,000—$60,000 USD. The role is full-time, mid-senior level, in the management and manufacturing job function within the IT services and consulting industry.
