Job summary

Community Health Alliance in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced, licensed Clinical Supervisor to lead our outpatient and community-based mental health programs serving children, adolescents, adults and families.

This leadership role combines clinical supervision, staff development, and quality oversight with the opportunity to provide direct clinical services and help shape the future of behavioral healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health field with supervisory licensure.
  • Ohio licensure (LISW, LPCC, IMFT) with supervisory designation preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and professional development to licensed and non-licensed clinicians.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed mental health services in outpatient and community settings.
  • Provide direct clinical services within licensure scope.
  • Monitor documentation, treatment planning, productivity, and service quality for compliance.
  • Support staff through case consultation, clinical training, and evidence-based practice implementation.
  • Foster collaboration among therapists, case managers, medical providers, schools, and families.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and staff evaluations.
  • Participate in quality improvement, chart reviews, and program development.
  • Build relationships with referral sources and community partners to promote access to services.

What You\'ll Do
  • As a Clinical Supervisor, you will:
  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and professional development to licensed and non-licensed clinicians while promoting clinical excellence and adherence to best practices.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, and families in outpatient and community-based settings.
  • Provide direct clinical services, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy, consistent with your licensure and scope of practice.
  • Monitor clinical documentation, treatment planning, productivity, and service quality to ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
  • Support staff through case consultation, clinical training, and evidence-based practice implementation to improve client outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration among therapists, case managers, medical providers, schools, community partners, and families to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance coaching, and staff evaluations while building a positive, engaged, and high-performing clinical team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, chart reviews, and program development to strengthen clinical services and operational effectiveness.
  • Build relationships with referral sources and community partners to promote access to behavioral health services and support organizational growth.
  • Create a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning that reflects Community Health Alliance\'s mission and values.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Master\'s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active Ohio licensure as one of the following with supervisory designation, where applicable:LISW, LPCC, IMFT. Supervisory designation preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
  • Valid Ohio driver\'s license with reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising clinicians in outpatient, community behavioral health, or integrated care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and family-centered treatment approaches.
  • Experience with clinical documentation standards, electronic health records, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with Ohio Medicaid behavioral health services, CARF accreditation standards, and behavioral health documentation requirements.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
