Job description

Overview

Some careers are just jobs. This one is different. At Georgia HOPE, the work you do every day creates meaningful change for children, families, and individuals who need it most.

We're a Georgia-based behavioral health provider on a mission to instill hope, empower lives, and strengthen communities. Our team specializes in supporting individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges—often those who have experienced trauma, instability, or significant life stressors. We deliver services directly in the homes, schools, and communities where our clients live and grow, because real progress happens when care is personalized, strengths-focused, and meets people where they are.

As part of the Health Connect America family—a COA-accredited organization serving children, families, and adults across nine states—you'll have the resources, support, and professional development of a larger organization, paired with the close-knit, mission-focused culture that defines our work.

If you’re looking for a career where your impact is visible, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters, you’ll find it here.

Responsibilities

If you're someone who believes strong clinical leadership drives better client outcomes, staff development, and program success, this role was built for you.

As a Clinical Supervisor at Georgia HOPE, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services while guiding, developing, and supporting clinical staff to ensure effective, compliant, and outcomes-driven care.

What You’ll Do

As a Clinical Supervisor, you’ll oversee clinical operations while balancing leadership, supervision, and direct service responsibilities. Your work will focus on quality, staff development, and program performance. Day to day, you can expect to:

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to staff, including caseload assignment, one‑on‑one supervision, performance development, and support during client crises
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery through review of clinical documentation, management of authorizations, and adherence to regulatory, ethical, and accreditation standards (including COA)
  • Support program operations by assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development in collaboration with the Program Director
  • Contribute to program growth and sustainability through involvement in budgeting, strategic planning, marketing efforts, and referral relationship development
  • Lead team meetings, coordinate communication across internal teams and community partners, and promote a collaborative, accountable team environment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and performance monitoring while maintaining compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

What to Expect

This is a leadership role that blends clinical supervision, administrative oversight, and direct service as needed. You’ll play a key role in shaping team performance, ensuring compliance, and driving program outcomes within your region. If licensed, you’ll also carry responsibility for clinical oversight tied to your credentials, including supervision and billing alignment. In programs such as Family Centered Treatment (FCT) or Fostering Solutions (FS), you’ll be responsible for maintaining model fidelity, overseeing training and certification processes, and supporting staff in meeting service delivery expectations.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, community-based environment.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who bring a genuine commitment to children and families and meet the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to: Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.

  • At least two years’ experience working with children (experience can include internships, volunteer work, etc.).
