Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a salaried Supervisor to oversee multiple surgical departments at the Torrey Pines location, with travel to other sites as needed. This exempt role participates in the MICP and offers weekday hours with possible extended hours.

You will supervise General Surgery, Head & Neck, Neurosurgery, and Vascular Surgery, ensuring staffing, workflow, and policy adherence across the department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus three years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of scheduling & billing systems.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, train and evaluate staff.
• Knowledge of healthcare business and operational practices.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other applicable systems.

• Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership.

This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with extended hours as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla with travel to other sites as needed. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Supervisor level.
