Qualifications

• HS diploma required; BA preferred in business administration or related field.

• Knowledge of cloud-based practice management software preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital-based and multispecialty practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently.

Position SummaryThis position is responsible for supervising the scheduling, registration, billing and collection operations of certain VMG clinical specialties. The operations process includes but is not limited to supervising in concert with the practice management staff the billing and collection and the billing coordinators, business associates, office coordinators and specialists. Successful job performance to be measured by producing best practice metrics relative to Accounts Receivable.EducationHigh School Diploma is required, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university preferred However, years of experience can be substituted for the college/university degreeExperienceMinimum two - five years of revenue cycle operations management experience in health care environment is required. Knowledge of cloud based practice management software is preferred. Familiarity with both hospital based and community based multispecialty practices is a plus.SkillsProficient in software applications including WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Medical terminology and coding knowledge preferred. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).
