Valley Health System is seeking a Billing Specialist to support and coordinate the billing and financial functions for the Practice at the Kraft Center, serving patients and physicians. Day shift in Kraft Center at Valley Health System.
The role requires a college degree or equivalent or 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in physician billing, AR, and collections, plus coding experience. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication are essential.
To support and coordinate the billing and financial functions and services of the Practice for the patients and physicians.
College degree or equivalent preferred. In lieu of a degree/formal course work, 10+ years of experience is required.
Minimum 2 years physician billing, accounts receivable and collection experience, prior experience in professional fee/office practice billing. Coding experience.
Strong communication skills and Math skills. Ability to operate general office equipment and computers. Competent in Microsoft Excel software. Ability to work well under pressure, tolerate frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, effective problem solving of complex situations, organized.

Pay Range: $24.14 - $30.17 (per hour)
