Job summary

Primoris Pipeline Inc., a subsidiary of Primoris Services Corporation, is seeking a part-time Billing Supervisor to oversee the billing function for multiple projects. You will manage a team, ensure accurate invoicing, and collaborate with project managers and operations to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with contracts, and continuous improvement of billing processes in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based industries, preferably pipeline or heavy civil.
• Strong understanding of billing principles, AR processes, and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to billing.
• Experience with contract review and interpretation of billing terms.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy of charges, proper documentation, and adherence to contractual terms.

• Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue payments and facilitate timely collections.
• Develop and implement billing best practices and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze billing reports, providing insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and client-specific billing requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
• Participate in system improvements and upgrades related to billing software and processes.
• Handle escalated billing inquiries and disputes from clients professionally.
