ICT PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR

Job Description

The position is responsible for managing and coordinating operational ICT processes, projects, planning and priorities, as well as coaching and managing the ICT group. It includes managing the associated administration, detecting and tackling risks, monitoring general ICT operations, and contributing to business objectives. The Coordinator acts as a central link between various IT teams and stakeholders, maintaining an overview of ongoing work, changes, and projects. The role focuses on coordinating, analyzing, and organizational responsibilities rather than executive technical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage internal and/or external employees to optimize ICT operations and coordinate projects and operational processes.
• Provide reports and general guidelines aligned with company objectives.
• Check task quality, monitor employee productivity, and adjust as necessary.
• Oversee internal organization, short‑ and long‑term planning, priority setting, budget monitoring, and administration to achieve departmental objectives.
• Draw up, follow up, and adjust operational planning; discuss and monitor work.
• Ensure work is carried out within established budgets.
• Coordinate projects and change requests received via the service desk with involved teams.
• Monitor lifecycle processes and ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Analyze problems, identify existing solutions or propose further developments.
• Conduct follow‑up and management of work.
• Monitor processes, projects, and resource usage to ensure safety and efficiency per applicable standards.
• Analyze and adjust processes and monitor team efficiency.
• Act as process owner during inspections and audits.
• Support and coordinate ICT projects.
• Address problems proactively to meet set standards and expectations.
• Prepare and check instructions, files, and other administrative documents.
• Initiate and coordinate improvement proposals.
• Align ICT projects within GPMO operations.

Profile

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar IT coordinating role, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to determine priorities and maintain an overview, mature personality with strong social skills, strong IT affinity and insight into operational IT processes. Knowledge of French is a plus.

Work Location

Main location: Dessel. Occasional meetings in Brussels.
