Job Summary
Summary of your new role:
- Similar responsibilities as Banquet Manager, but a more junior role
Reports to Banquet Manager, Banquet Director, and/or F&B Director
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and performance-manage banquet service personnel according to Club procedures.
- Implement training programs, including required training and Star Service, to maintain a well-trained staff adhering to Invited service standards to achieve service excellence and drive Member satisfaction and retention.
- Adjust plans as changes occur in the banquet area.
- Coordinate with the Private Event Director during event preparations to ensure proper staffing and execution.
- Ensure food and beverage service to Members and guests meets Invited standards of service and excellence.
- Review BEOs and daily logs to stay informed about scheduled functions and updates.
- Oversee events and banquets, ensuring timely food service and client satisfaction. Handle payment processing and paperwork according to standards.
- Manage room setup and breakdown using the function book.
- Assist with opening procedures for banquet areas.
- Record relevant information in the MOD log for shift handovers.
- Greet Members promptly by name to provide a warm welcome.
- Complete side work as per Star Service standards, maintaining organized and sanitary work areas.
- Support team members, Members, and guests to deliver the three steps of service. Be attentive to the environment and team dynamics.
- Report Member/Guest complaints promptly and practice service recovery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

About You
- 2+ years in club supervisory or related Food & Beverage role.
- Completed STAR Service Training; alcohol (ASAP), CPR, Food Safety Program (FSP), and conduct training (HFWACT) preferred.
- Experience in a professional indoor club environment.
