Role Description The Supervisor, Automation Maintenance Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based in Plainfield, IN. This role oversees daily maintenance activities for automated material handling equipment and systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and safety. Responsibilities include planning and assigning maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, and leading troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues. The supervisor guides and mentors maintenance technicians, enforces safety and compliance standards, collaborates with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, and maintains accurate documentation of work orders, repairs, and equipment histories. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
